Japanese Curry Roti John
Ingredients
Minced chicken | 400g |
Yellow onion, chopped | 80g |
Garlic, chopped | 15g |
Curry powder | 10g |
Salt & sugar | 1 tsp |
Eggs | 6 nos |
Red chili, chopped | 1 nos |
Hotdog buns/ oblong bread, cut half but not fully | 6 pcs |
Cabbage, shredded | ½ head |
Cucumber, sliced | 1 nos |
Swiss Bear Japanese Curry Sauce |
STEP 1
Sauté yellow onion and garlic until fragrant then add in curry powder and cook for 1 minute.
STEP 2
Add in minced chicken, salt and sugar. Cook through and set aside to cool slightly.
STEP 3
To make 1 roti john, combine 1 egg, 2 tbsp of the chicken filling, some chili and some green onion. Mix well.
STEP 4
Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat and pour in the egg mixture.
STEP 5
Place the cut side of the bun on the egg mixture and allow the egg to cook for 2 mins.
STEP 6
Turn the bun side down to cook for another minute before remove from heat.
STEP 7
Put some cabbage and cucumber then drizzle some Swiss Bear Japanese Curry Sauce over the top. Ready to serve.
